Thank you, Kabu! Yes, I don't think Saudi Arabia is the place for many women. I know I couldn't live there. I value my rights as a woman too much. I would probably be arrested the first day there.

I believe my nursing jobs all came from word of mouth ie from other nurses, so that would be networking I guess. Hearing of jobs that others were considering. Checking them out for example I heard that Saudi Arabia was a great place to nurse. One could make plenty of money and side trips were offered. I checked it out and found many problems for a Christian woman and decided it wasn't for me. So that was network and then the internet to double check.

My most interesting job seeking experience was when I had an email inviting me to look over a parish soon to become vacant. It wasn't until the email writer invited me to tea with his parents that I realised he was nine years old! But here I am, ten years later, in that same parish. I went there and I stayed!
