Just hang on, it gets better. I had a play pin for my son a sturdy one that he could not get out of. I filled it with everything imaginable, swim toys, pots, pans, wooden spoons musical toys, blocks, cookies and even suckers. But I never left him unattended for more than minutes at a time. At least until he feel asleep. Then I would sneak up stairs for a shower. Soon he was begging to get in it.
