i knew who he was, but somehow i never knew he was assissinated. that's awful. i don't think i'll see the movie though since Hollywood tends to turn history into entertainment, and i always feel guilty watching it (especially with high-paid actors like Sean Penn). thanks for this tidbit, though!

I haven't seen the movie, but I knew who he was and what happened to him. I think gays should have the right to marry and it's only a matter of time before they can, in all 50 states.

I am fine with gay people. I have a few friends who are.
This is so very interesting. I wondered what that movie was about. I want to see it. How courageous of Milk. I never even heard of him. I hope you feel better soon, evidently we have the same or similar infliction. xxoo
