Thanks enjino (?) I recognise even those born into our faith

who can be the worst anti semites unfortunately, and they will eat treif and do all manner of things unbecoming to a Jew or any one for that matter as Jews abeit misguided Jews. I try to avoid a holier than thou attitude at all costs because that is alienating to all people not just non religious people. My family tree on my Dad's side -  we are descended from a danish Jewess called Rachel Aron and some of them kept the faith that is why there are religious Leeds in USA. On my mother's side there is Jewish but very covered up as she is from Austria. I am still going to follow up and find out who is who and try and trace my maternal grandmother's geneology one day. My mother doesn't even know who her maternal grandmother was.

It is a matter of me having been chosen to recognise that there is a greater power in my life and all our lives. I just express my perceptions and own my gratitude  to G-d through prayer and mitzvot etc.

Still do not know about mum.

Re: I hope you hear from your mother soon...I'm sure it must be worrisome...and

Anything and everything you do for the education of your son will be with him for the rest of his life.  Knowledge builds upon knowledge, learning upon learning, ability upon ability.  It is good that he has a mother to stand up for him, and with him, and hold him up.

I probably missed something along the way, but how did you learn to begin with that your mother was in the hospital?

We need to find your mother. I'm worried too.

I hope you get some news about your mother very soon; not knowing is often much worse than knowing.

In my experience people who have converted to Judaism often know much more than people like me who were born into the faith.

Best wishes!

I hope you hear from your mother soon...I'm sure it must be worrisome...and
I enjoy Sabbath, too as a Seventh-day Adventist.  Have a great day!
