I'll do you one better - do not hate one another, but have the courage to stand on your prinicples, regardless of the tide of political correctness that creates so much of the hate you condemn. If being true to yourself and what you know to be right costs you popularity, so be it. Just do not let the quest for popularity cost you the honor and integrity out of which your compassion and generosity necessarily arise.

No matter which party we belong to, we should all help others in need--and there are so many in need now. It's hard not to be afraid.
