I'm a bit shy of 5 feet. My attempts at sports were truly, spectacularly awful!

I was hopeless at sports too; always the last one to be picked for the team etc. You can develop team spirit through other activities than games though, luckily there I could contribute something and did not get left out. Good post, thanks!

I am glad you were able to get a feel for the team effort! It is a very unique feeling to do one's part to reach a collective goal! Which demonstrates that everything is not about winning! sam

My son played football midget league to his senior year...
and then a bunch of his buddies would play every Sunday for many seasons. He loves football, still to this day.
