1. So glad and blessed to have you here Dear Rector.
2. I miss the British-style parties because ach is unique and original, not so one-size-fits-all that most celebrations ar ein USA (Because the businesses capture any good thing and make us believe there's the RIGHT way to do a birthday, a dinner, a Christmas party...) Blessing s galore come your way and for your whole (HOLY-Holistic) family during this Holy Lenten period.

Have a fun time!

And I like the Celtic ceremony...it's sounds very close to the earth and the people...sounds very accepting and non-judgemental.

That Celtic prayer sounds universally inclusive, which I think is very important in a global world. I hope your parishioners backed you up. Best wishes for an enjoyable holiday and birthday celebration.

Oh, I do hope you will take pictures to share!
I have just finished re-reading the only Poldark book I seem to have left, the second in the series, and would love to get my hands on the others, to spend some more time in Cornwall!
Your Celtic service is indeed lovely! I asked about it with particular interest because of the research I did for the novel I have posted much of here on Blogit, The Heretics. Part of it is set in Ireland in 1500, in the far west where in my imagined little monastic community the Celtic Christian Church tradition still held on. I am very happy to know it is still hanging on!
