As much as Pelosi jumped up, I told my wife she should just remain standing and cut out the b.s. I'm a liberal democrat, but strangely enough, I want the Republican Party to re-emerge. No matter which party is in power, eventually it goes over the deep end, dragging the country along with it. Every liberal isn't always right, every conservative isn't always wrong and vice versa. I want both parties to serve as a check and balance, making sure the other doesn't get too big for its britches. I thought Jindal's speech left much to be desired. The content was most partisan drivel and his delivery reminded me of Mr. Rogers. All he needed was a few "boys and girls" sprinkled in there.
