I get those offers all the time and also the e-mails that say I am a
beneficiary of some millionaire from another country. I get several of those a week.

it ain't necessarily so..
Many of these scams look and sound good. Some of the guys are professional crooks, some are just stupid enough to think they can get away with anything.
I am also looking for a job. I also have to sift through all the garbage out there. If it looks too good to be true, you should probably pass on it. You will waste a lot less time with that in mind.
