Re: OTA
Thank you - I agree and truly believe that the varied paths to spiritual growth are there for a good reason... if only to teach us to accept and respect difference

Re: sam444
thanks Sam! After all, if we do not choose the way in which we grow, how can we call that growth our own? We become less ourselves than a product of spiritual topiary...

this reminds me of unity.. if we can see the paths of each to be valid and necessary for the whole.. we may become unified in our strengths.. it takes all kinds.. wonderful piece

Re: Merkie

Thank you! I do tend to look on most spiritual ideologies (and much of psychology) as different paths to the same place and it is for each person to find the path that suits them best. Of course that is purely my perspective

Re: Lion
Thanks Troosha, I know it's not often I wander from talking of love, is it? This was something I felt I needed to say and I say things better in verse

Re: rockingrector
Thank you! As a person of emergent beliefs that is definitely an approach which appeals more to me... I find it difficult not to shy away from bombast purely because that approach leaves me little room from thought and questions

Re: Shamasehar
Thank you - I feel that poetry is there to share the important things with other people... and to me this was definitely important.

Re: Lion
Thank you! I wrote this because I felt some guilt at not responding well to somebody's very enthusiastic description of their belief system and path towards growth...

I like this! Never have been one for coercion - I think everyone needs to be free to make up their own mind, so the best we can do is lay out the options in as honest and open a way as possible.
