good memories are a balm in themselves. to the escapist, they are a sanctuary that shields them from all that hurts. to the romantic, there's always a smile waiting to be savoured. to the survivor, they are the scaffolds that will hold them steady as they put their bricks of life in place. and we all pull through. i wish you the very best

I don't know what the future holds, but for now, at this time in my life, I have more love than pain, more sunshine than rain. Of course my life isn't perfect, but the things that bother me most aren't major problems, but minor inconveniences. I still take those trips down memory lane, but they're not a form of escape. It's just keeping the good, and occasionally not so good, times in mind.
