Wow Mike what a great story. I just read the last three installments. Very interesting . Can't wait to meet Wilber's girlfriend! He is quite a rowdy teenager!

A male house pig, with all of his original equipment, a disaster waiting!

We had your same problem with our potbelly male Lumpy. When he hit puberty, he reeked as a result of his hormones. When he popped his jaws, foaming from sexual frustration, you could almost see waves of odor emanate from him. I am sure that you know exactly what I am talking about. When he charged into a female visitor, gashing her knee with his bottom teeth, it was the last straw. We had already penned his mother Barbie outside, and soon thereafter, he was given a life sentence to his own adjacent pen, with a common fence between them. He never forgave us, and nearly went crazy, trying to get to his own MOTHER! You should have believed the person that told you to have him nutered, I wish that we had been warned as you were. Phew! Have you ever tasted pork from a boar hog? Now I can always tell. That awful odor permiates the meat, regardless of how one cooks it! It makes me wonder how to trust that I our pork is always NOT from a mature boar. The only solution I can think of, is to buy directly from a farmer and make sure that the pig is female or surgically feminized.

Re: smell
My dogs smell bad if we don't bath them on a regular basis.  Wilbur on the other hand has no smell, unless he is in one of his little modes. But we seem to have this under control. We did find him a new ol' lady. Its seems things are going pretty well. My Pumpkin Pie seems to be adjusting rather well to his "bitch". As far as messes, there are none. Wilbur now sleeps on a blanket and eats outside, but is still pig headed.

A very cute concept. And I'm glad that Wilbur came out of the closet. Girls watch out for this ladies pig loves!

We already have a StCricket on Blogit... now I think we should anoint another saint... Saint Rhea... Your wife IS a saint... To have lived with a 300 pound pig sleeping in her closet qualifies her.  Oh my Gawd!  I can only imagine the messes and the smells.  A three hundred pounds anything would be too much for any ordinary person to take.  I do hope Wilbur's girlfriend is imaginary ... they propagate awfully fast you know  Great story!!!!
