A beautiful simile at the end that got nailed with cupid's arrow of sadness! But exquisite imagery nonetheless, similar to bestest! Might not be a word! lol I am going to stay with Blogit as long as I can! Things are very difficult now and I actually just take life one at a time! It is a most precarious circumstance! I complained about the volume of medication and the number of doctors prescribing and it fell on deaf ears! Now I pay the consequences! Alas, another character building opportunity! I am laughing, that is too much philosophy, not the bestest! May not be a word! lol again! Sammy loves you dearly! xoxoxoxo Did you see my tribute poem and list of bloggers, I have mentioned you there!

I wish to thank you for your comment. You have taken a lot of trouble and I truly appreciate that. I needed to get a perspective, because I was really not sure what to think. All the comments have been very helpful. No, I haven't been to the boat show. Since this morning, I have lumbago again, I can hardly move and am in a lot of pain. And that 5 days before I have to fly for 14 hours. Just my luck. I hope it will be better in a few days.

A BEAUTIFUL AND TOUCHING POEM SINOME ..

I know that your words of gold and your silver thoughts
though very loved,  will always be
like those eyes I adore ,  too far from me

Sinome, have you ever thought of trying to get in the greeting card business with your poems.  I can just picture yours selling like hotcakes.

You seem to portray what Indians call DIWAANA...love-craziness! It is, by the way, not the real thing!
