majroj, this friend's kids are grown up, one helps her as a co-worker upon occasion and the other is a NYC photographer.
I can see how they would get to your own children and change their behavior, or make them feel less loved or paid attention to, as the foster kids are so needy or mentally challenged.
My friend spends a lot of her earnings on massages and doctors for herself to stay on the even keel required.....major stress creator and little relief when you are in it and need a babysitter who must be licensed.
I won't go for the licensing as I fear her leaving me alone with them. I would have to duct tape them to the walls until her return an hour or three days later!!!
She is the most patient of saints and uses her programs and training like a pro.

Yes, they are angels.
It is nothing like what we think, as my co-workers' experiences proved. One's marriage broke up over it, and the other wound up with an unmanageable pre-teen whom he could not handle.
