I enjoyed your description of finding your normally safe route invaded by diverted traffic. That's the trouble with bike riding--what is that I hear behind me?

If you don't think it rude, what denomination do you serve? I only ask because you sound so real + human. Are you Anglican or Cof E? If you'd rather not go public-- please acept my apologies. My son is a Pentecstal Pastor! I can hear my old Catholic mum birling in her grave!

But he had to get a degree to qualify, so he studied more than he ever did in school!

I have a feeling that it isn't true where you are concerned.    Sometimes the heart is touched the best when there are only two or three present.  That's all it takes for Him to be in the midst.
