Cordite? I think that's what makes the scent of gunpowder...
I did not know taxidermists stuffed their subjects with it. You never know where the next little gem of information will be found. As for the post office, the one here in Mundane is staffed by some very nice and helpful people. It sometimes smells of Pine Sol.
