It was a beautiful spring day today on the Northeast coast; upper 50's and sunny. I hope next week is more of the same - I have so much travel research to do. Last year at this time, I was driving in hail every day for 6 days! Yes, I get into those introspective, anti-social moods sometimes. I think we need those every so often to appreciate being around people. Mal

The beauty of fresh snow can be striking! I used to enjoy skiing on sunny days (cross-country, I don't do downhill) after a snowfall, but my knee won't allow it these days. An we've been getting just too much of the stuff - last week the wall at the bottom of my driveway was 6 ½ ft high... Today it's raining...
BTW, have you looked at my answer to your comment in 'Thoughts'?

For a writer not feeling much like writing, you have a nice way of letting us know that. It seems that I often feel much the same way. I think we are expecting snow, but today I helped my Grandson #1 to celebrate his 23rd BD by sitting on the deck in the sunshine together and having a great time visiting while Rocky ran round and round their plot of ground bounding in delight and rolling in every nasty thing he could find and chasing a yard-invading cat under their front porch.

Re: Those moments of curling into oneself how I do understand...
Weather reports seem to agree we can expect a couple of inches or a little more in the southern Puget Sound area. Other places up around the Olympic Peninsula, a bit more, maybe 5 inches.
I see a good 2 inches on the post outside my window already.

Those moments of curling into oneself how I do understand...
as for the snow, we are supposed to be getting more within the next two days...in this area February is usually a good month for anyone who enjoys a good snowfall...so here I am in 60 degree weather, waiting for that all-elusive whitefall...
Nice post, my friend!
