...here is the basic rules for a limerick along with a link if you want more information.

LIMERICK:

a kind of humorous verse of five lines, in which the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines, which are shorter, form a rhymed couplet.

Contracts are a two way street. Maybe get someone to read it also so you know your rights too. Maybe get another artist?? The manuscript is the main thing.Good Luck!

Unfortunately, all correspondense witht this company is done through e-mail, so I bite my nails and wait for a response!  Maybe I'll take up drawing lessons...
