regarding senior citizens -- that happens now
HMO's set limits on what they pay for certain stays in the hospital and care given.  Hospitals also set limits..  Then it ends in some extended care facility giving inadequate care but taking all the insurance and medicare available for the 6 months that residents are expected to live in such facilities.

you know medical doctors ahd hospitals don't determine your health care
insurance companies do -- HMO's --and Md's and hospitals are hard-pressed to provide quality care under this system.

And if you don't have insurance, the bill is around 20% + greater -- and if people can't pay, then the hospital and MD's raise the rates for everyone else -- like little water cups that  you can buy at any store -- 100 for about $2.50 -- hospitals charge $4 for those.

Oh yes, we are in great shape.

Maybe you go by the old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."  and you don't think it's broke -- sorry to break your bubble, but it is.

Decides Who Lives?
If they say they will decide who lives  and withholds medicine for any of my family members then maybe the bureaucrats need to have their life expectancy decided by someone else as well.
