riri came from my nephew.... he could not say Lori...
which came from my grandma... Lora... my sister was also an L.. Leigh... as a testament to our mom.. Lois ... and I am ever so GLAD because if they would have done one L and then one BJ for my dad... I would have either been BoShane Julian or Bertha Jacklyn..... Lori is preferable... and now everyone calls me Ri

Fun subject LustorLove...looks like I've got to do some back peddling. I've always enjoyed your lovely lust & love filled poetry. I'll be by to visit more often. Well...just briefly..with my handle Yellowrose55. My favorite # is 5 and I love yellow roses...always have, roses too. And happen to have a yellow car and a yellow ocean kayak. Not that it's my favorite color. Kinda turned out that way, but I do love sunshine and smiles. So there you go LustorLove. I'll be back. Peace always.

Troosha
ah thats interesting, and what is your real name?

Lustor

My name is a nickname my father gave me and it stuck all the while I was growing up.  It’s basically a shortened and bastardized version of the Ukrainian version of Catherine.  My mother’s side of the family is Ukrainian and many of my aunts, my grandparents, etc. would call me by my Ukrainian name.  My father, as anglo as they come, turned it into “Troosha”.  So for me, it’s a term of endearment I hold close to my heart.

Elinjo is an Esperanto abbreviation for Elizabeth, Eliza or Betty. I like the name and although I have nothing to hide, would prefer to remain anonymous.

Actually Lustor, my name started out as a mistake... Sinuhe is a character in the novel  The Egyptian written by Mika Waltari.  In the novel , which I read as a child, Sinuhe is the narrator and the book is about his life.  Sinuhe is someone untraditional that spends his time on earth searching for something larger than himself ( much like I was at the time... or liked to think I was  loll) ,In Sinuhe's own words: something  " beyond his understanding and for which it was worthwhile to live"   I was just starting to write  then and needed a pen name... Sinuhe seemed right so I adopted it and when I wrote a poem to a friend proudly signed it:  Sinome ().  My friend ( a boy of course) loved it and went around telling everyone how clever the name was because in Spanish Si means yes, no, well means no and me... well means me loll ,  so it was yes and no something that at the time was very  me.  Everyone liked it so it stuck and here we are today :-)

My original Indian name given at birth is "Ashok"...
which means "one who has no grief :)"...It is also the name of the first Indian king...my American buddies so love me, & want me to "assimilate" so bad, that they "burnt" it down and made "Ash" out of it :)...I do like the way folks call me "Ash" though...when the guys say it, even my Indian buddies, it has a sense of camaraderie to it..and when the gals say it, I find it sexy :)! - Ash

My former blog name of Cheugon...
...was a pseudo acronym composed of letters from my first, middle and last names.
My current blog name was derived from my Chinese Zodiak sign of rat, with my element being metal...ergo, metalrat.

And yes, Hazel., I thought St. was Saint. Old religious training raising its hallowed head.

I love trying to figure out where all the names come from.

Thinking of changin mine to

cool
Well, Linda, as I said on your previous post st, is not saint ( lol, do I act like one...heehee), but is street. I was living on Hazel Street when I signed up. I had a couple friends who called me Cricket, because  they knew a girl in Arizona, who looked like me and her nickname was Cricket. Her real name was Chris, like mine. I liked this little name so I made it my blogit handle...the Hazel Street Cricket. I thought about the little critter, who chirps all night driving everybody crazy, and thought that is exactly me., hence The Cricket Chirps (driving everybody crazy on blogit all night long...lmao ).

uhmmm....My first handle was "wigopa" which is little girl in Lakota..the Native American tribe that I grew up with..I am five foot one on a good day so I am still little, and I am a girl the last time I checked...The new handle came about, somehow I needed a change...The girls at work and some of my other friends said, that I was a cranky as a she-wolf and then I had a few people ask if I was a witch...lol..I meant to say "b#$#h" but they said witch instead...I told them...with all the drama going on in my life I just decided to go with the flow and put the two together..and thus I became "wiccan she wolf"..
