As far as the novel goes, I've stumbled into a quagmire. I have two versions of the plot, both good, but neither great. Presently I'm trying to reconcile the dilemma by taking the best of both and merging them to a seamless whole.

I most definitely agree. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Of course, that may mean there's more "fertilizer" spread around.

I too favor solitude. Maybe that's why I enjoy writing so much. I'm fortunate that Queen V enjoys solitude as well.

It's just the way I see things. If I couldn't make the mundane colorful and exciting, I'd stick my head in an oven.

Sometimes it ain't what you say. It's how you say it.
And that is why you'll always be on my list of Favorites. Plus, which I want to hear what happens with your novel.

Your mundane is another man's wonderful. To a wife with an unfaithful man, you are a dream come true. To a bedraggled mom or dad of ten children, you and your beautiful wife live free and easy--the King & Queen of Dream Street. It's all in the perspective.
