You're right. Reality shows are not real as they pretend to be. Talent hunts are invariably doctored to generate higher viewership during prime time. Mock fights among judges, walkouts etc you get everything to add spice to your bland food for dinner!

I'm not much on reality shows.  I do like to watch American Idol.  Is that considered a reality show.  Mostly I watch CNN and Turner Classic Movies if I'm not on Blogit or reading a good book.

or they want us to believe it is. I'm not into it, either.
