Yes her reasons for wanting so many and being a single mum
is what I find difficult to comprehend. I think she is biting off a little more than she can chew. I am a single mother but I do know my limits and I am NOT a single mother by choice. My son was conceived after much effort and heartache with his father who decided to opt out of the equation. There is no way I would have 14 kids without a Dad involved. I do think it is a bit selfish but I am prepared to wait and see. I think she will have huge management problems with that many without appropriate help and that means Nannies. I am a bit more hands on as a mother but I do believe that being a single parent doesn't preclude you from working.

A lack of sense of 'identity' is an awfully poor reason for wanting even one child, let alone a horde of 'em...
It also brings to mind a neat limerick:
There was a young girl from Rabat
Who had triplets, Matt, Pat and Tat

When she found she had no tit for Tat...

and look I believe that so many kids would definitely be better off with a decent male role model.
I cultivate friends who are both religious and non religious Jewish and also non Jewish when I want to have 'connections with people'. It is kind of strange to say the least that she was allowed to has 8 embryos implanted when she already has 6 children. She should talk with someone like Angelina Jolie-Pitt who also likes children but is a bit more normal and balanced in her love of children.

That's her choice, but like you said, I hope she can afford raising them,
as it's not the taxpayer's responsibility!
