WOW ! I didn't know that. very interesting.
I used to meditate myself to sleep every night, but lately that's not working, either.

I'm bothered by insomnia at times. I've tried all your listed suggestions and have found the addition of calcium at bedtime really works.

I like and appreciate this entry. I hope it doesn't disappear like the poem,"Insomnia" I posted in my poetry blog did!
