Those were pretty much standing orders for us, too, Will!

I remember the crazy wheel, Guy!
I still get that one, every time, and I don't know what's harder to deal with -- driving it or riding in it!

Strat, 3 rules mom gave me when shopping. "Don't ask, Don't whine and
Don't touch." It's pretty much the same now, only now it's the missus.

Boy, you're really invoking a different era! But the motorcycle racer? Nah, these days he and many others would be sitting at the console of their X-box or whatever the damn things are called, sharpen his reflexes, dull his brain and get obese...

I certainly remember shopping cart rides!

     Strat,

My mother always got the cart with the crazy wheel that wobbled and made a terrible noise, while trying to constantly turn left, or resist turning at all! Maybe they were all like that. I don't know, because I was very young at the time and nobody had invented a pill for me, yet. I remember always being a joy to my parents. Welllllllll, maybe not always, there are fleeting, blurry memories of my Dad being angry at someone, someone very young, a few times. Probably my sister.

I hope that my parents would have resisted the temptation to medicate the "Devil" out of a rambunctious child, but this was in the era of conformity, cookie cutter people who went to any length, to not seem different than what was considered the norm. Peer pressure is one big bad, BITCH!

          Good blog, as always.

              Guy

Strat...
When I went to the school for advanced genetic engineering, I was the class clone!

I shall risk the screams of everyone here by stating that one quick bottom
smack with a flat hand will hurt the pride and nothing else. Surely remembered hurt pride is better than medicated kids. If someone had tried to medicate my kids I would have smacked their bottom for them too.

I know; right, Timmy?
I personally think the medicating of America is an egregious crime against creativity, if nothing else.

Imagine how many greats, including Carlin, we would not have known if the drugging of our kids would have come along sooner. Robin Williams, John Belushi...........

Somehow, your being class clown doesn't surprise me, Crcket.
More validation, if anything! We comedians have to stick together!

LMAO, strat
When we were kids, my Dad used to always say, " If you had a brain, it'd be lonesome."  LMAO.. Always loved Carlin, and guess what? I was voted class clown by my senior high school classmates, go figure. LMAO !
