I did almost the same thing to the kitty in the picture a few years ago. I closed the door on his poor tail. I heard a yelp and a big bang on the door, I opened it but it was too late. The fluffy tip of his tail was there in the door hinge. Ouch!

She looks so trusting. Which reminds me that yesterday I didn't know that Pitiful was resting right behind me while I blogged. I suddenly moved backward and my chair ran over the tip of her tail. She jumped, yowled and ran like mad, leaving a clump of fur at my feet. I felt bad, but I didn't know she was there.
