that's not true

Corporate America wastes more paper than all the rest of them, combined. Just look in your mail. It's called jink mail.

By the way, I rarely receive unsolicited religious paper-based fare. And, if someone's handing out pamphlets in a parking lot or what not, you can always refuse. I've done so without encountering anything hostile.

College students do it, too, to advertise bands on your windshield under the wiper blade.

I have yet to sit down in a public toilet and find an environmentalist's pamphlet resting above the toilet paper. In fact I can not really recall ever being handed a pamphlet by an environmentalist , yet it seems like there are always religious people out there ready to give you pamphlets, even if you make it clear you don't want them.
The only people I know of who waste as mush paper on pamphlets are politicians during an election year.

this is ridiculous
Sorry...but churches are not the sole paper users. I mean, even environmentalist groups distribute paper pamphlets. The latter is perhaps even more ironic, and, to slam environmentalists, someone could say the same thing you've said against churches. And this comment comes from an environmentally inclined individual: me.

You'll have to come up with stuff better than this to state your case against religion.
