Just read it. Lovely, the flying pigs. I must say, the entire website is very, very attractive. Sorry about brighthub. Try again this one:
http://www.intheknowtraveler.com/. I just went in, it works. Tschuess meine Liebe.

auslander, I use glasses when on the computer and when reading, too..
When I first got them and went through "getting used" to them, it was tough...and I, like you, had a bit of quesiness and a lot of headache for awhile...after a good month, all these symptoms disappeared..now I just have the bi-focal effect to contend with, sometimes resulting in a sore neck, and I guess that will be forever (or until these glasses get replaced...

Re:
Thanks vogue! I tried the second web-site you mentioned but couldn't find it. Even after clicking on your link it didn't work.
As for brighthub, the only NEW writers they ask for are to write about comfusers and new technologies.
By the way, did you look at my new page on Valentine? What do you think of my flying pigs? LOl

Busy bee! Here is a bit of advice from a 'four eyed perosn'. It's normal to feel at first as if your view is somewhat distorted. Sickness to the stomach is new to me. It takes about 3-4 days to get used to a new pair of glasses. If this is your very first, you should be ok after a week.
re:brigthub: computer geeks is only one aspect. I am certainly not a computer wizzard. Why don't you try their health and nutrition channel? And the language learning one? Both should be right up your alley and at least you make $10 a throw. Good luck and let me know so I can read you back there.
Another suggestion just occurred to me: check out http://www.inthekonowtraveler/. They are looking for articles on Europe (Germany!) and they have just started to pay for blogs as well. $10 per article, $2 per blog. It totalls up.
