Scotcanada,
you are a closet-writer!

Thanks, Mal!
In fact, I questioned my muse over that particular phrase, but she insisted on it.  I'm glad you like it!

Timmytales, I have a shelf full of notebooks
some perfectly blank... but a nice notebook is hard to pass up for some reason.  I have never been able to keep a journal for long--so a lot of them have thoroughly started fronts, and totally empty backs.

Talion, I used to have a memory that retained things....

she said wistfully...   I think I need to defrag...

Always good to see you here--Give my regards to the Queen!

Re: I love this poem!
Thanks, Scotcanada--this is what poetry is about, 'unusual word combinations' I think...  at least it's what I always try for.

Hi, Ciel.
Privacy has me in thrall. I never write things down where anyone could see my musings. I'm downright secretive, in fact. I can write online , cuz no one knows me. I just have ongoing writings in my head, perfect them there--write them, hide them, think about them, tweak them. Then I try to speed type them online--(2 fingers) and no one I know has any idea that I do this. Real wierdo, eh?

Wonderful!! I have told myself many times to carry a notebook.  I have a notebook full of scraps and folded napkins.

Ciel
I used to carry around a notebook as well for jotting down my thoughts and snippets of things I saw and heard. I don't know why I stopped, actually. Now I commit it to memory. Of course I don't retain it all, but it's surprising what I do. Strange things pop in my head completely at random.

I love your poem. I used to have a little black book - discretion made me discard it...

I love this poem!
You use such unusual word combos that it makes the reader stop short and re-read. Just great.
