Some NEVER grow up! I have a daughter 24 that is divorced and she was on some dating site and I read some of the trash men wrote to her and I told her to ask them if they wanted to meet her daddy. She is grown but I think I finally convinced her that this mystery dating was not the safest thing in the world. I'm hoping!
My advice to you is to be true to yourself. You are SOMEBODY not a something! I know that everyone has an opinion, but the bottom line is that you, as well as other women, are worth caring about and deserve a sane, mature, & appreciative companion. Blessings!

I have been single since I divorced in 2004
before that I had been celibate for nearly two years because my husband was unfaithful. I would not have sex without marriage to the person and I guess that is why I have been celibate since. I have a child and I think you have to think of a lot of things before you go and have a relationship with some one. I would not contemplate sex without marriage and a deeper commitment to a long standing relationship, preferably for life.
Dating sites are at times a sleazy experience and there are people who are obviously not looking for long term commitment but an affair and not serious. Then again there are people who are genuine too. You have to sort out the seed from the chaff so to speak.

I have been single for 25 years in all that time I havent found but one person who was sincerely in love with me and wanted to marry me, he was in canada I am in the USA that wouldnt work, unfortunatley he passed away, I have been with a lot of men, but most are no sincere and all they want is a sexual relaionship, although I love sex I need more
