Re: exactly, kwentuhero
Serious writers on blogit know that you MUST write in Office Word or notepad, etc. and then copy and paste, otherwise the second paler and less successful writing is all that is and will be preserved on the blogoshpere of life.

Also, blogit died a few times and posts were lost forever, so if you love some particular writing of yours, save its copy somewhere else, too.

And thanks for reading me and writing comments here.

and azur, maybe it is the combo of the newest Firefox and Blogit html coding and all that jazz, too.

Re: yes it has happened a few times on blogit recently
We must remember, azur, the ancient lessons of Blogit, which taught that all writing, except short and cute comments, must be written on some office pad and then copied and pasted, because then brilliance can be revealed and not lost in the great internet clothes dryer of missing socks and all that.

It also happened to me. I retype again but unfortunately, I can't recover my first write ups.

Re: I hate that when the work is removed
Me, too, azur. It changes my writing to be worried or to be too well planned. Spontaeity works for me, with later editing...but this box is not kind to me, when I must erase something, everything gets really iffy.

Re: gulp. very intellectual but as it happens I am reading a history of the
Kabu, I bought my oldest son a book about Caribbean Jewish pirate history this month, as those are his historical relatives and I have been reading it before mailing it off, trying not to open the pages too wide so that it appears still unread, heh heh heh.....

My hosted African son or grandson from Togo brought me two lovely dresses and a mask from there. The real coup however was a huge bed covering cloth made of mud cloth. Just luscious. Wonderful gifts and a wonderful fellow who just graduated from the U of A here and is about to return to get his Masters now, I think. But first, he must rush off for three weeks in Paris, his graduation present.
