you caught me! I thought nobody would and I had made it too obscure - there was that thought in my mind when I wrote this... a washing away of the issues and disappointments of the day, in sleep, to start the next morning bright and filled with the potential of a new beginning.

Nice!
For me, this poem evokes a hint of inner conflict slowly washing away with an evening's slumber... Each day invites a new beginning a way to start fresh. I really liked the flow of this poem.

That last stanza SEALS THE DEAL! It seems you are conscious of the way a poem sounds when read out loud... there's a very gentle and soothing aspect to your writing... not jagged! Excellent!
