Aw, Naut...
No one who knows me mistakes me for a lady!

MS and cooking for friends who appreciate it.

Reading about your friend with MS reminded me of a teaching colleague I had in the mid-60's. She had the kind of MS that disabled rather than killed and she continues teaching her class of 7 year olds. At that time I was her aide: writing on the blackboard etc. She was a very courageous woman.

Cooking for my family is a challenge! They are so fussy! So I can just imagine your pleasure in cooking for your friends; the menu sounds delicious.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your reminiscences.

How I admire people who can and love to cook. Me, I prefer to read them though. Lovely post.

Ciel
Well, what can I say - you're making my evening. I wasn't feeling all that great, for a number of reasons, but you have certainly improved my mood tremendously! You're a very special lady! And I shall get myself another bourbon and drink to your health...

You know, Ciel...
...I haven't had dinner yet, and I end up reading this post.
You're a wonderfully compassionate person as well as a terrific cook...now excuse me while I get some grub!

Sorry-- "Malcolm"
I can usually spell, just a terrible typist!

Honestly, Malcom,
I have been looking for a way to cross the street to their side for some time, but have to consider my own limits--that the best intentions have to be backed up with commitment, which has never been my best thing!  It had to be something I will do with an enthusiastic heart.

Good for you
for doing something to help where so many others would walk by on the other side.
