Wow! I truly understand. For us to bear witness to the things we live through is one thing. But from others, it can be an unbearable truth that takes time to overcome.

It's a choice...
...because you think you're strong enough, nice enough, good enough to change it/help it overcome. My thoughts, anyway. Your words remind me of the chastisement of my friends from my "dark days" several years ago.
