Thank you for your comment. Unfortunatley, Karachi is much maligned, as is Pakistan, even though the country is partnering with the world against terrorism. A porous mountainous border with Afghanistan, stretching over hundreds of miles, allows Taliban sympathisers to enter Pakistan without being detected. Consequently, we have had to pay a heavy price in loss of lives for partnering with the US. We just have to fight our war with negative forces and hope that we come out on top.

Fascinating!
I feel insulated here, far from the center of world attention. But you have brought it to life. Thank you. Karachi seems to have had a good week. It seems like such a beautiful place to have to worry about terrorism. How vigilant must you remain?
