Although I didn't read the blogs or comments you mentioned in this post, Auslander, I think your words stand true for many situations. Note that it is easier for a person to complain with a full belly. Those who have empty bellies (i.e. are living the hardship) are too busy looking for food, so have no time to complain. Also, I was unaware of shelly-b's problems, but will gladly pray for her.

Today Israel has declared a unilateral ceasefire - we now have to hope that Hamas reciprocates! So far it hasn't...

Reflecting on the world and the human factor with all its conflicts, makes me terribly sad.
Reflecting on the world as God's creation with all its wonders, rejuvenates my soul and makes me glad.

Aus - as you may have noticed, I never engaged in dialog - hateful or otherwise, with aforementioned bloggers. I have several rational, articulate Muslim friends with whom I disagree, bu we are civil to each other and try to see things from each other's viewpoint. The bloggers who "appeared " on the comment sections of my blog are furthest from articulate, rational and open-minded. There are plenty of people in the occupied territories and in Israel who are attempting to negotiate around the deranged thinking of Hamas and other terrorist groups. I just hope that clarity of thought prevails! And I think that most Palestinians and Israelis hope so too. Mal

Re:
I haven't heard of the old man since last weekend and as I'm leaving tonight to spent the week in town with son and doggy, I will probably not hear from him for a while longer. I don't mind a bit. I know is alright (heard from other neighbours), and that's enough for "megirl".LOL

Yeah, it seems miraculous indeed...reading Mason's astrology post gives
a lot of insight into these things...seems the planets and stars make crazy out of all of us (some worse than others)
