Your God-derived morals should handle this!

pain will make one nasty for a moment, but, it is easy to fake goodness

or even greatness until it becomes real, and then disappears again as we settle back into pain alone at home....goodness can be learned adnpractice makes perfect, or more perfect.

You'll be fine.

What a beautiful Love story
CouplesBelieve me it takes a lot of love.  They sound like a very rich couple indeed.  You have too much compassion to old and onery( TN slang for stubborn).

They sound a bit like my parents
but my mum's patience is wearing thin and my dad, who is almost blind, does lead her a merry dance sometimes (without the words or the music). Have a East Anglian great weekend

I doubt you will live up to your expectation--
or down to it.  You will be doddery, maybe, sometimes cranky, probably enjoying the licence of age to poke at the youngsters... But I doubt that love will desert you, flowing from or to you.

What a marvelous post! Love is patient and kind, unselfish and caring. The kind of love that you have defined between this old couple is the "real deal." Thanks for sharing!
