I agree with Baskhar(sp?)
Taking chances is always hard to do. By the way, love these quotes before the poem!

This one stands out ... "My globe seemed to be a speck on my horizon"
As I paced further away from my rooted spot
I was amazed to see how far I had got
My globe seemed to be a speck on my horizon

Mariaki, I think this is so cool to have chosen a globe! Just brilliant and the imagery you fashioned around is graced with such a powerful message! I love this one to pieces! Peace and blessings too! Shelly

Stepping beyond our comfortable “barriers” is not always easy to do but, as your poems points out, our globe is a mere speck. We might as well see what’s beyond. A wonderful poem, Mariaki!

Nicely said!
it is easy to be rooted in our comfortable bubbles, isn't it? Love this poem, my friend, it says what so many of us have been through and what many others should

Great message conveyed. A cocooned existence is a waste really because it stunts our growth, physically, mentally and spiritually.
