Unless the professor insists you can use the libraries and the internet to do all your work. Be creative. Share with a friend and supplement with the internet. You will know more than students who use the books only.

College textbooks are so freakin' expensive...
...yet I wasn't too keen on buying the used books with all the dog-eared pages and notes and highlighted text that emphasized the previous reader's train of thought, which was hugely distracting.

I'm worried about buying my books for this senmester...
I still owe a little from last semester and I'm not sure they'll let me buy them. I have public speaking, English and Algebra.
