It its unfair... they should change that system, but tradition's in men' sports are very difficult to change. We women are more practical and dare I say smart? If we need change its just a matter of implementing it... but men fight for what is as hard as they fight for that ripped up T-shirt that they love or those pajama pants so faded one can not really tell what color they are...or that recliner chair that "its just too comfy" to throw away... You men are closet sentimentalists and that is why chances are nothing will change, not right away anyway, in college Football... sorry Mike :-( but your idea is great...

Send them a copy of your post, Muley. Maybe someone with authority (and sense) will see it and react.

Re: sam444
the money and publicity that would be generated, with a play off on top of the lesser bowl games would be astounding. These folks are truly short-sighted!

I hear you, it has been many years since I can remember disputing whether the team that won the championship game was indeed the national champ! It is quite weird that a team can go undefeated and not make it to the big game as well! I liked your idea of structuring the playoff! I think the amount of money generated has a big role in the playoff situation! But the BCS is broken and needs to be fixed! sam

Re: You are so right, muley...where have you been?
hi Cricket, good to have you back. I have been having a combination of computer problems (my fault) and internet problems, (att's fault) wtf. I hope everything is resolved with both of our problems.
