Thanks. It's not hard to sympathize with students. It's hard to be mean to the ones, like you, that jump through all the hoops and keep trying, and even smiling. You want them to succeed.

Mousehop, you know you're happy that you were both softies here! After all...an all- expense paid trip to Aruba? Surely travel rounds out education...and she may have never had the chance again. Thank you for letting her go without a hassle!

Funny, I have nieces and nephews going there and we gave them the same
warning, look out for Dutch boys....
but seriously, spoiled students irk me no end. Maybe it's because no quarter was given in my day and none was asked....
I would be a mean teacher, even with softy tendencies, remembering my studies and teachers and the hoops that I jumped through.
