Gep, I am glad that you asked....
I am not an authority of the Word of God or even a Bible scholar, but this I do know: the devil is a liar and the father of lies. He is a deceiver, a thief, and a destroyer of lives. He was created as an angel, and got on an ego trip and tried to usurp authority over God. That cost him and a third of the angels who had been drawn in to his scheme their positions in heaven. Satan is where he is because of his own doing. You left room open for discussion and this is the way I see it. I am a believer! I would rather believe that there is a God and find out at the end that there is not than to not believe and learn that there is and to hear Him say, You don't belong to me; depart into everlasting torment. I have never seen Him with my natural eyes, but then I have never seen my heart or my brain but I believe that I have both. Thanks for the opportunity to share! Blesings!
