As a child, pictures of Father Time frightened me because they reminded me of pictures of the Grim Reaper (the scyth/sickle prominent in both pictures). As I matured I realized that they were not much different in nature -- Father Time took away the past and the Grim Reaper took lives -- both "takers." That's when I realized how precious our memories are.
