We used to do that alot...go from one house to the other on New Year's Eve, the Quebecois way of ringing in the year. It was great fun...and also great hangovers.LOL. Congrats for your new job!

Sounds like you had a great time. I guess in the country people still drop in on each other on these occasions - it's something that no longer happens in the city. I know very few people on my street!
And congrats on the upcoming gvt. job! Excellent, I like it! As far as I am concerned, the more people I know in gvt. the better...
