What a drag to have the shoes be so wrong for this incredible venture! What tradition and heritage! The landscape and sea are absolutely beautiful! Fantastic post! I love it! And it's nice to see green, rather than dirty white snow, which is all we have...But those clogs? They look neat, but I wouldn't put them on to walk around the
house (where I am always barefoot anyway, lol), let alone on a hike up a mountain...

What a great post, KaBooM--photos, story, everything.
I love those kind of shoes--except for having to walk fast, or to go down stairs.
I always end up losing them when I do either.
