I'm usually not into love poems (probably because, at my age, I'd just like to see if the plumbing still works). But yes, oh youth! I'm glad someone understands about something...and in this case the simultaneousness of time--the "as if" waking dream juxtaposeed against a sleeping reality, and painted as a still life within a breathing canvass. Ok, so maybe I liked it!
