I'm well aware of that after losing my mother and two of her sisters in less than two years. The longing of a moment doesn't come close to the longing of forever, but it is still sometimes intense. Thanks.

Beautifully done, Talion.
Especially the thread of wistfulness, the little sense that something was missing in the midst of the festivities, the air of making do until Queen V could be with you. I love your writing.
