NewYorker, I understood that, but it got me to wondering about our presidents. I don't suppose John Kennedy was canonized. He was our only catholic president as far as I know.

I know this may sound naive but this is a joke, correct? This is not true, correct? I am not Catholic but I think that canonization is for sainthood for a person who is now dead, correct? This can not be true. People can't be this stupid.

He HAS had plenty of opportunities to do something noteworthy
in the United States Senate!!!

Hail to the Vatican!
The Pontiff did the right thing by saying the all-important word, "NO!" Mr. NObama did a total sum of NOTHING in the senate and it remains to be seen what he does as president. For clarification purposes this worthy black man is only HALF black. His mama was WHITE as a ghost. This is not about skin color as many purport; especially the far left who like to make an issue of race when it is to their [imagined] advantage. Being black, white, pink, or purple does not qualify anyone for anything. What is in that person & what are they capable of doing? As much as ALL of US want world peace, sadly it is NOT going to happen. We live in such a diverse world and there will always be someone to step on the foot of others. That is not being negative; it is being honest. We hope for peace but only when the Lord sets up His kingdom on earth will there be true, and lasting peace on this earth. Happy New Year!
