Hope you had a great New Year's party. My own wasn't too bad, though I got rather, well, let's say tipsy, LOL, and am still recovering...
Canard a l'orange is fabulous - I remember making it with a friend of mine several years ago, though we didn't make it with sirop d'erable - it all brings back memories. French almond-lemon pie sounds great as well, although my own favourite French dessert is tarte Tatin...
