Good call! As an archeology school drop-out, one of my biggest worries in regard to museum pieces is that their history tends to get lost in so many little ways. The worst of these, of course, is when antiquities are removed from sites without proper procedure and sold on the black market, but as your story illustrates, even properly documented pieces can lose some of their emotional value when subjected to 'academic' cataloguing and storage.
